Hi there, I'm Angela Wisler, a porcelain & acrylic Artist.

Being self-taught, I know first hand the struggle to find the right steps & tips for painting roses. My mission is to make learning roses faster and easier for you than it was for me.
My Latest Course:
How to Paint Realistic Roses
Shapes & Structure
shares the EXACT process that I use.

Angela Wisler Porcelain Artist

Can you relate to any of these?

  • You're new to painting roses and don't know where to begin.

  • You watch artists paint roses, but when you try to paint them you feel lost about what shapes to paint and how to arrange them.

  • You have been disappointed by lessons, books, and/or studies that came with a line drawing, a list of supplies, and almost no instruction.

  • You feel like you have to trace a pattern in order to paint a rose.

  • When you create you own rose designs, they seem off and you're not sure why.

  • You're always looking for ways to improve your rose paintings.

I know right where you're coming from, because I have experienced all of them.

  • I was watching artists paint roses, but when I would go to paint them myself, I was lost.

  • I knew what colors to use and what brush, but I had no idea what shapes to paint.  I didn't know how the petals fit together or the correct proportions.  No one ever went over that.

  • I finally realized that when I traced someone else's drawing/pattern to my surface, that I was just coloring it in and wasn't learning how to actually structure roses or design them.

  • That pattern that I traced was only one rendering of roses in that position. If I wanted to paint a different layout, I would have to buy another pattern

  • This was a slow and expensive way to learn.

So, I began studying real roses to learn as much as I could.

Painting wasn't the problem. I understood the basics of painting.

I just didn't understand what I was painting.

Learning the rose's structure and shapes was the key.

Once I knew how to rough sketch the roses, I had a map to guide me to paint them.

My Online Courses VS In-Person Classes
a cost comparison

Let's look at the value and savings you get by learning with me online. Versus a typical three day in-person seminar, where you have to travel to a convention or instructor's studio.

The Rose Course 3-Day Seminar
Lifetime Access 3 days Access
1 payment of $97
$650 to $1550

Wow! When you add costs up that seminar is over 10 times the price of The Rose Course with me online.

Plus with my online course, you get a printable workbook, private social group, and future savings on courses and supplies. Not to mention you can contact me anytime for extra help.

  • In-Person Seminar Cost Instruction Only

    $250-$450 average

Seminars and conventions are always expensive because of all of the overhead venue costs. They also don't give you any choice about when and where you have to travel. My courses are available 24 hrs a day 7 days a week. Whenever and wherever it's convenient for you.

  • In-Person Seminar Travel and Lodging Expenses

    $300-$1000

The cost of getting to that seminar is never included. Even with group lodging rates, it can get really expensive. You never have to leave home to learn with me. You can relax on the couch in your pj's.

  • In-Person Seminar Class Materials You Have to Buy

    $100

I'm being conservative with this one, because I have seen surfaces alone for a course go well over $100. And when you add in the brushes and paints some instructors require it can be as much as the course itself. My courses will never require that you use any of the materials or tools that I use or sell. Use what you have/like and save your money.

What Current Students Are Saying...

I have worked through your rose painting class and have really enjoyed it. I first started china painting in 1982, but had to set it aside for several years—just realized it’s been 40 years. I started again about a year ago, but it is very hard to find a teacher—and there are so many different styles of painting.

Anyway—here I am at 83 years old and beginning again. I love the instructions that you give in your course. I have learned so much. And I am beginning to put everything together so that I can try painting again.

I know that I will watch your videos many times. Again, I really appreciate these lessons and look forward to any new lessons that you may be offering. Thanks again.

I am really enjoying the course and feel that I can learn how to draw roses instead of just tracing them, Thanks.
